What we store
Your workouts, stacks and progress are stored on your device first. If you create an account they are also stored on our servers so they survive a new phone. You can use STKD without an account, in which case nothing leaves your device except the diagnostics below.
Crash reports
We use Firebase Crashlytics. When the app crashes it sends the crash itself, your device model, your iOS version and an anonymous install identifier. It does not send your workouts.
Usage events
During the beta we use Firebase Analytics to record a small set of events so we can see where people get stuck. Each event is the fact that something happened, with no workout data attached:
- Which onboarding step you reached
- That you built your first stack
- That an import started, finished or failed
- That a routine was derived from imported history
- That the paywall was shown
- That a trial started
- That a purchase was attempted
This website
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views and where visitors came from. It sets no cookies and builds no profile of you. That is why this site has no cookie banner.
If you send us beta feedback, we store your answers and, only if you choose to give it, your email address. We delete both once the beta closes and we have acted on them.
If you join the beta waitlist, we store your email address, the date you joined, and whether you came from our TikTok or Instagram. We use it only to send your beta invite. To do that we give your email address to Apple, whose TestFlight service sends the invite, and Apple then holds it under its own privacy policy. We delete our waitlist when the beta closes.
The feedback and beta pages also load Cloudflare Turnstile, which is the check that you are a person and not a script. It runs in your browser and Cloudflare sees your IP address and some technical details about your browser while it runs. It is there to stop the forms being flooded, and it is the only third-party code on this site.
Deleting your data
Settings has a Delete Account option that removes your account and everything attached to it from our servers. You can also email us at support@stkd.app.
